At Sprouted Canvas, we believe children flourish when given space to explore the natural world through mindful creativity. Our nature-based art programs invite children toddler-aged through 12 years old to disconnect from screens and reconnect with their innate curiosity and imagination.
Through guided outdoor exploration, thoughtful art-making with natural materials, and age-appropriate mindfulness practices, children develop deeper connections with nature, themselves, and their creative potential.
Each Sprouted Canvas experience is carefully designed to inspire wonder, foster environmental stewardship, and nurture self-expression in Rhode Island's beautiful natural settings.
Explorations at locations across Rhode Island where children discover the artistic potential of the natural world. Each adventure includes nature exploration, mindfulness moments, and creative expression using natural materials and art supplies.

Every Sprouted Canvas experience is built around three core elements:
Nature Connection: Children explore the natural world with all their senses, discovering patterns, materials, and inspiration.
Artistic Expression: Using both natural elements and art materials, children transform their observations and experiences into meaningful creative works.
Mindful Awareness: Simple, age-appropriate mindfulness practices help children slow down, notice details, and fully engage with their surroundings and creative process.
This special pre-Mother's Day program combines nature exploration, mindfulness, and creative expression to help children create meaningful portrait gifts for their mothers using natural materials and paint on canvas. 🎨🍃
Designed for children ages 3 to 7 years old, this 90-minute program will bring children together for an open-field nature walk and creation of art on canvas.
